Silexan® lavender oil

Laila contains Silexan® lavender oil.
Silexan® lavender oil reduces anxiety-related symptoms and has a positive effect on disturbed sleep.

Silexan® lavender oil is produced using a well-defined and standardised manufacturing process:

Essential oil is obtained by steam distillation using the fresh flowering tips of Lavandula angustifolia Miller.

Steam is generated separately in a steam boiler and passes through the distillation tank in a steam coil. The plant material is tightly packed above the perforated grid.

The steam containing the Lavender oil vapour then condenses in a tube condenser and is separated in the oil receiver.

At this point, the lavender essential oil is separated off, ready for the production of the soft capsules.

This is the extraction process used to obtain essential oil.

The soft capsules are first filled, then shaped and sealed in a single operation, to protect the active ingredient.
