Laila is a traditional herbal medicinal product for relief of mild anxiety and to aid sleep.
The active substance is lavender oil (Lavandula angustifolia Miller, aetheroleum) 1 soft capsule contains 80 mg lavender oil (Lavandula angustifolia Miller, aetheroleum).
Laila is indicated for adults and adolescents from 12 years of age.
The recommended dose is one soft capsule once daily. The soft capsules are to be swallowed whole with sufficient liquid (preferably a glass of water).
Silexan® is a lavandula oil preparation from Lavandula angustifolia Miller, for oral use. Lavander (Lavandula angustifolia Miller) has been known for centuries as a medicinal plant.

In the absence of sufficient data, the use of Laila during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended.

Laila contains lavander oil from Lavandula angustifolia Miller (Silexan®). Silexan® has shown to not modify the plasma levels of oral contraceptives based on ethinylestradiol or levonogestrel, and to not affect relevant pharmacodynamic parameters. Silexan® can thus be safely administered concomitantly with the majority of oral hormonal contraceptives.
No case of interactions of Laila with other medicines has been reported. In the event of contact with a doctor or other health care professional, remember to tell them if you are taking or have recently taken this non-prescriptive medicine.
Laila can be taken at any time of the day.
