What mild anxiety is?
Anxiety is a feeling of nervousness, concern, or unease that is a normal human experience as well as a response to a threat or to psychological stress. It originates from fear and serves an important survival function.
Anxiety is considered a disorder when it occurs at inappropriate times, frequently, and it is so intense and long-lasting that it can interfere with a person’s normal activities.
Each of the anxiety disorders can be classified as being severe, moderate, or mild. Anxiety disorders which did not fit into either the “severe” or “moderate” category are described as mild.
Mild anxiety may be caused by situations of difficulty associated with daily life: work, family, everyday commitments or financial problems.
Mild anxiety can significantly limit daily life, making it essential to treat it as early and effectively as possible.
Please refer to your medical doctor for any further information and advice.
